The first stage of iSpring WGB32B-DS whole house water filter system is a sediment water filter.
iSpring FP25B Multi-layer filtration allows for fewer clogs and minimal pressure loss. This water filter is specially designed to remove sediments, dust, sand, large particles, silt, dirt, and rust that can clog the filters that follow.
The Second Stage Water Filter
The second stage of iSpring WGB32B-DS whole house water filter system is an anti-scale water filter.
The filter media can effectively sequester calcium and magnesium from your source water, preventing your pipes and household appliances from scaling and clearing partially clogged piping.
Our premium filter media inhibits corrosion, particularly iron, steel, galvanized, copper, and lead, by coating the surface of your pipes. The coating also helps to stabilize chlorine as the chlorine will not react with the metal pipe if it exists.
Depending on your water quality and water usage, our filter media can last up to 12 months or filter up to 250,000 gallons of water. It is fully compliant with USA and European standards for food contact materials.
The Third Stage Water Filter
The third stage of iSpring WGB32B-DS whole house water filter system is a carbon water filter.
iSpring FC25B carbon block water filter uses high-quality coconut shell carbon and highly compact fabrication tech for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. It filters up to 100,000 gallons of water (or lasts up to 12 months) and removes up to 99% of chlorine from water, as well as color, cloudiness, and various taste and odor compounds.
Q: Does this system soften water?
A: No.
WGB32B-DS whole house water filter & descaler uses polyphosphate to prevent scale from forming and attaching to your pipes, sink, shower, dishwasher, and other household appliances. It can also coat the surface of your pipes to prevent them from corrosion. However, this water filter system does not remove calcium or magnesium so the hardness of your water will remain the same after filtration.
