Step 1:

Turn off water supply, turn on a faucet to release water pressure and turn off the valve after the filter.

Step 2:

Slide the locking latch and lift it up. With both hands, twist out the filter cartridge by turning it to the left and down.

Step 3:

Twist on the new filter cartridge by pushing it up and turning right until the locking latch clicks in place.

Step 4:

Turn on the faucet, then the valve downstream of the filter and then, the water supply. Check for leaks and flush the filter for 15 minutes before use.

The 3M Aqua-Pure Whole House Sanitary Quick Change Replacement Water Filter Cartridge AP910R is the replacement cartridge for the AP902 system. This activated carbon filter reduces particulate down to 15 micronss nominal for all incoming water. The universal design allows for use on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems. Aqua-Pure AP910R Whole House Replacement Filter Cartridges helps to reduce iron and particulate in up to 100,000 gallons of water, a typical year’s supply dependant on water quality, before replacement. The cartridges have a high flow rate, providing up to 20 gallons (75.7 liters) of filtered water per minute. A sanitary design minimizes spills and keeps filtration media enclosed during change-outs. Nonwoven polyester blend pleated filter media has a five-microns filtration rating. A cartridge change is recommended at one year. Manufactured by 3M Purification Inc., formerly CUNO Incorporated, the cartridge is made from CFR-21 certified materials. It can operate at temperatures from 40-100°F (4.4-37.8°C) and at water pressures from 25-125 psi (172-862 kPa). It does not require pre-activation, and has an O-ring seal type. It is 25-1/16 inches (63.7 cm) long and 4.5 in (11.4 cm) in diameter. It is for use with the Aqua-Pure AP902 Water Filter System.
